The Federal High Court sitting in Abuja has prohibited the retrial of Senator Orji Uzor Kalu by FG, EFCC, and any of its agencies.
The presiding judge, Justice Inyang Ekwo said there was no judgment by the Supreme Court for the retrial of Senator Orji.
Justice Ekwo gave the order in a judgment on an application filed by the former governor seeking an order prohibiting EFCC from retrying him on a charge for which he had already been tried and convicted.
Justice Ekwo however ordered for the retrial of the Former Director of Finance and Account Mr. Jones Odeogu.
