Proscribed Leader of Islamic Movement of Nigeria IMN, Ibrahim El-Zakzaky.

The proscribed Islamic Movement in Nigeria, IMN, has urged the Federal government to arrest and prosecute the alleged killers of its members in Abuja.

The IMN spokesperson, Mr. Abdullahi Musa, alleged that eight of their members were killed by some security operatives while they were observing their religious obligation also known as the Arba’een procession.

Mr. Musa who narrated how the incident happened at a media briefing in Abuja said that members of the group were observing the religious procession from the gate of Gwarimpa model city to the main bus stop when security operatives stormed the area and opened fire.

The group, therefore appealed for justice as the deceased would be buried today (Wednesday) in Maraba.
