Kwara committed to access to safe water

Kwara State Governor, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq says his administration will deliver sustainable access to safe water, and improve sanitation to all rural communities by 2030.

AbdulRazq stated this at the flagging off of Partnership for Expanded Water Supply, Sanitation and Hygiene (PEWASH) program in Ilorin.

Represented by the deputy governor, Mr. Kayode Alabi, governor AbdulRazq said the program would improve public health and nutrition.

He commended the federal government for its leadership and coordination of the program.

The National Coordinator of Partnership for Expanded Water Supply, Sanitation and Hygiene, Mrs. Jummai Umar Wakaso observed that the primary goal of the program is to improve public health and support poverty eradication.
