The Executive Chairman of Ado Local Government Area of Benue State, Comrade James Oche has said, the curfew earlier placed in Agila District from 6 pm to 6 am has been relaxed conditionally, to now be from 8 pm to 6 am.
The chairman explained that the relaxation takes root from the recommendations of the Ward Heads, Councilors, Clan Chiefs, and security agencies from Agila who have assured that same would be in the economic interest and welfare of the people.
Mr. Oche has however maintained that all other prescriptions that accompanied the curfew would still be in force, especially, the sealing of Akpa Ofu Unazi and Jesus Cottage all of Apa Ward which shall remain under lock and key till further notice.
The curfew placed has ensured peace reigned considerably as there is no report of an attack on people and destruction of farms within the district.
Those who violated the curfew order had been arrested and charged to court already.
