Former presidential aspirant Ahmed Buhari has joined other political stakeholders to support for a president from the southern part of Nigeria.

Mr Buhari was speaking on the programme; Inclusion for Democracy on Radio Nigeria, with a focus on the impact of the Not-too-young-to-run legislation and its impact on youth participation in politics.

“I want a southern president this time around,” he said in response when asked if he will be contesting for the presidency in the 2023 general election.

The former presidential aspirant also advocated the full inclusion and support of people with disabilities (PWDs), women, and youths in Nigeria’s politics.
