Gunmen have kidnapped over 30 people in Garun Gabas in Rafi local government council of Niger State.
They were abducted on Wednesday in three separate vehicles comprising an 18 seater bus and 2 other cars.
The gunmen besieged Zungeru Garun Gabas highway shooting sporadically before kidnapping their victims.
A villager who spoke with Radio Nigeria under the condition of anonymity alleged that the bandits had advanced to Kundu forest in Rafi LGA to rustle cattle.
At the time of filing this report, Niger State Police Command was yet to comment on the development.
