Kwara State Government says it is putting up a project tagged “Kwara Pitch Competition”, to scale up business brands among young business owners in the state.
Senior Special Assistance to the Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq on Jobs Creation, Mr Aliyu Alhassan, announced this while addressing newsmen in ilorin.
Mr Alhassan said the project would enable young business individuals to pitch their products and brands in the competition where winners would be turned into team of successful men and women from different industries.
He explained that the competition was put in place to scaling up businesses that would in-turn create jobs and place the state on the map of innovations, enterprise, technology and development.
Mr Alhassan said at the end of the competition, three winners would have the opportunity to meet with investors from all over the world at the upcoming Intra-Africa Trade Fair 2021 in South Africa.
According to Mr Alhassan, the trip to South Africa would be fully sponsored by the Kwara State Government for the three prospective winners.
He however urged interested young business people in the state to visit the kwara state Facebook page to fill the e-form and get necessary details.
