The Governors of the South-West States of the Country, under the aegis of the South-West Governors Forum have held a meeting in Lagos.
Briefing newsmen after the meeting which was held behind closed doors at the Lagos House Marina, the Chairman of the Forum, Governor Oluwarótìmí Akeredolu said they discussed a number of issues affecting the region.
“We met today and deliberated on a number of issues that we have in common, out heritage, the Oodua Group of companies and national issues, and at the end of the day, we agreed on a few things, a number of them are security issues which we will not want to make public.”
While five of the Governor’s were at the meeting, that of Oyo State was represented by his Deputy, Rauf Olaniyan.
