Three people have reportedly been killed in a fatal multiple accident on the Ilorin-Ogbomoso expressway.
Radio Nigeria gathered that the auto accident occurred at Otte community in Asa local government area of Kwara state at about 6:00 am, on Saturday, as a result of excessive speeding.
A total number of four people were involved in the accident, three died on the spot due to the impact of the accident, while the only one survived sustaining multiple injuries.
The accident involved a private Toyota Corolla car and a commercial Mitsubishi pickup van.
Confirming the incident the state commander of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), Jonathan Owoade, said that the victim of the accident had been taken to the state general hospital, Ilorin, and the corpses were deposited at the hospital’s morgue.
