Party Chieftain lauds PDP convention

A former governor of Ekiti State, Mr. Segun Oni says the successful conduct of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP)  elective National Convention and the emergence of new a National Working Committee is an indication that the party is stronger and in his words, ready to salvage the nation from the precipice. 

Mr. Oni who is the governorship candidate of the PDP for Ekiti State told newsmen in Abuja that the outcome of the convention was a clear message that there is hope for Nigeria.

He said the PDP was now poised to work for the repositioning of the nation to ensure that no Nigerian is left behind.

Mr. Oni said the PDP has learned from the errors of the past and is now well-positioned to unleash the limitless potential of the nation for the common good of all.

He rejoiced with party leaders, governors, legislators and congratulated the new Executives of the PDP headed by the incoming National Chairman, former Senate President, Dr. Iyorchia Ayu.
