Christian leaders across the world have been advised to preach the gospel of peace starting with their families, communities and nation’s, to reduce the prevailing crises in the world.
Chairman of the World Christian Leadership Conference WCLC Dr Ki Hoon – Kim, who gave the advice while speaking during a virtual meeting of World Christian Leaders said the meeting was aimed at awakening the need to preach peace and discussing the role of Christianity in creating a unified family under God.
Dr Hoon Kim, said “Man must have compassion on the unsaved to draw them to Christ for eternal salvation, the level of crises, kidnapping and other societal ills in the continent is alarming, we must embrace peace for the progress and development of nations of the world establishing one family under God”.
The President Apostolic Christian Council of Zimbabwe Arch Bishop Johannes Ndanga, said “Christians should be the first to embrace the gospel of peace, beyond religion, nationality, and races.
In their presentations the Pastor Four Square Gospel Church Nigeria Rev Gabriel Emily and Founder Revelation Spiritual Home Prophet Samuel Radebe thanked the organizers of the conference and appealed to both Christians and Muslims to continue to pray for the peace of the world, stating that inspite of the challenges facing the continent, God has promised to bless Mankind and his resources.
“Picking the sermon from Gen chapter 12 verses 1 to 3, God says I will make of you a great nation and bless you, in Africa the plight of many remains bleak despite abundant natural resources, the Earth is our common home whether we like it or not, it is important that we live in unity with mutual respect, free from segregation and hatred”
Chairperson Universal Peace Federation Africa Mrs Katherine Rigney, reiterates the need for Christian Missionaries to remain committed to saving the unsaved, while focusing also on building a crisis free world and living an exemplary life.
