A veteran Journalist Mr. Ray Ekpu has called on news Editors in the country to resist temptations and intimidations that will dent the integrity of the Journalism profession.
He threw the challenge in Abuja at a training on Conflict Sensitive Reporting for news Editors, organized by the Centre for Democracy and Development.
Mr Ekpu who gave account of his over four decades in the Journalism practice, told participants that he was able to overcome the challenges and distractions.

On reporting conflict sensitive issues, the veteran Journalist urged editors to be guided by the ethics of the profession and consider national interest before any other consideration.
During the experience sharing session of the training, participants bear their minds on the need to be thorough on issues, especially those that are sensitive to national security, ethnicity and religion, before dishing out to the public.
The training was attended by Editors from broadcast, print and online media from across the country.
