Patrol Vehicles to the Nigeria Immigration Service, (NIS) by the German Federal Police Germany
The German Federal Police has donated three Patrol Vehicles to the Nigeria Immigration Service, (NIS) to strengthen ties in the areas of Migration and Border Management as part of the German Federal Government’s “Police Training and Equipment
Assistance” programme.
In a statement, by the German Embassy, the three vehicles will be utilized for border patrols, facilitating border management, combatting trans-border crime and maintaining security.

While handing over the vehicles to Deputy Comptroller General of NIS, Wuraola Adepoju, the German Ambassador to Nigeria, Mrs. Birgitt Ory, said the vehicles was aimed at underline the long standing and fruitful partnership between the Federal Government of Germany and the Nigerian Immigration Service.
The fight against trans-border crime would be improved through the exchange of experience, assistance with equipment and the transfer of knowledge through training programmes.
