Chairman Advisory Committee on Religious Affairs, Prof. Sambo Wali Junaidu called on the Muslims in the country to start looking for the crescent moon of Rabiu Assani one thousand four hundred and forty three after Hijira today the twenty nine of Rabiu Awwal 1443 After Hijira.
In a statement signed by the Chairman Advisory Committee on Religious Affairs, Prof. Sambo Wali Junaidu said if sighted the information should be forwarded to the nearest District or Village Head for onwards communication to his eminence the Sultan of Sokoto, Muhammad Saad Abubakar.
