The judgement for the N2.1 billion fraud suit against the chairman of the defunct Pension Reform Task Team, Mr Abdulrasheed Maina is ongoing at a Federal High Court sitting in Abuja before Justice Okon Abang.
The reading of the judgement by the presiding judge Justice Abang commenced this morning at 10:36.
Abdulrasheed Maina was escorted to the courtroom by the personnel of correction service shortly before the judgement commenced
The judgement was slated for today after over two years of the trial.
The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) had, in 2019, arraigned Mr Maina alongside his firm, Common Input Property and Investment Ltd, before Justice Okon Abang of the Federal High Court, Abuja, on a 12-count- charge bordering on alleged money laundering to the tune of N2.1 billion.
