Sixteen schools have signed up for the maiden edition of Radio Nigeria Ibadan Kids Football Challenge.
The participating schools were zoned and divided into four groups at a draw ceremony conducted at the Broadcasting House in Dugbe, Ibadan.
Elder Adenrele Ajisefinni, the representative of the Acting Zonal Director, Ibadan station, Mrs Bolanle Owoyemi, said the competition was to find talents at the grassroots level and to prevent youth restiveness.
The drawings for the Kids Football Challenge, which will be held from the 10th to the 17th of December, were attended by Ex International, Haruna Ilerika, General Manager Premier FM Ibadan, Alhaji Aderemi Omotosho, educationists, and games masters from the participating schools.
