Wizkid performing at the Global Citizen Festival, South Africa
Multiple Award-winning Nigerian artist Wizkid has won the award for the Best African Act in this year’s edition of the MTV Europe Music Awards (EMA).
The latest achievement came in a closely-fought contest in which the superstar defeated the likes of Tems, Diamond Platnumz, Amaarae, and Focalistic.
“HUGE congratulations to BIG WIZ @wizkidayo for winning Best African Act! From Lagos to the world,” MTV Base said while congratulating Wizkid via its Instagram handle.
