Pan African Peace Leadership honors Tsoho, others

The Deputy Head of Mission, International Peace Commission, IPC, Nigeria, Ambassador Jonathan Daniel has called on Nigeria to give priority to programs that promote and strengthen peace and unity in the country.

Ambassador Jonathan Daniel made the call in Abuja while presenting Pan African Peace Leadership Awards on Excellence in Leadership to some notable Nigerians.

Ambassador Daniel is also the President, Pan African Peace Leadership Awards identified peace and unity as some of the major factors needed for national development.

He also stressed the need for Nigerians to promote peace, unity and peaceful co-existence at all levels.

Ambassador Daniel explained that the Award became necessary to recognize the contributions of some Nigerians who are advocate of peace and unity in the country.

One the awardees and Director, Strategic Communications, Nigerian Army University, Biu, Borno State, Major General Bello Tsoho said the award would further motivate him to continue to contribute his quota to national peace and development.

He enjoined Nigerians to always imbibe the spirit of peaceful coexistence for the overall develop ament of the country.

Other awardees, Fazazee Adeshina, Dr. Saratu Ajibade and Godwin Stanley also expressed gratitude for the award and enjoined all Nigerians to always embrace peace in their day to day activities.
