President Muhammadu Buhari with Vice President, Prof Yemi Osinbajo at the Federal Executive Council meeting on Wednesday at the State House, Abuja
President Muhammadu Buhari has presided over a virtual Federal Executive Council meeting at the State House in Abuja.
The meeting was chaired by the President on Wednesday after returning from the 26th Conference of Parties (COP26) to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change and other engagements.
In attendance at the FEC meeting were: the Vice President, Professor Yemi Osinbajo; Secretary to Government of the Federation, Boss Mustapha and the President’s Chief of Staff, Professor Ibrahim Gambari.
National Security Adviser, Babagana Munguno; Attorney-General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Abubakar Malami, Minister of Interior, Rauf Aregbesola, Minister of Finance, Budget and National Planning, Zainab Ahmed were physically present at the meeting.
Others are Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Mohammed Bello; Minister of State for Education, Chukwuemeka Nwajuiba and Minister of Works and Housing, Babatunde Fashola.
The Head of Civil Service of the Federation, Dr Folashade Yemi-Esan, and other cabinet members attended the meeting virtually from their various offices.
