Executive Secretary Border Communities Development Agency, Captain Junaid Abdullahi
The Executive Secretary of the Border Communities Development Agency, BCDA Junaid Abdullahi has called on contractors executing Border communities’ projects across the country to ensure timely completion of their projects or face sanction from the agency.
Abdullahi stated this during an inspection visit to ongoing projects in border communities in Kebbi state.
In a statement by the Deputy Director and Head of Public Affairs and Protocol of the Agency, Sadiq Abdullahi, the Executive Secretary expressed satisfaction with the progress of construction work at various projects sites visited by the top management team of the agency.
The project visited includes the construction of Abattoir and meat market equipped with solar-powered borehole in Fana border community in the Dandi local government area and a six classroom block with an installed solar-powered borehole and an overhead steel tank for pupils of the school.
The benefiting members of the communities expressed appreciation to the Federal government and the agency for their timely intervention to give them a sense of belonging.
