Telecom services in Kaduna have been restored after a partial three-month suspension.
The state government enacted the measure in October to combat bandits’ activities in the state.
At a news conference on Friday, Samuel Aruwan, Kaduna commissioner for internal security and home affairs, stated that the relevant government authorities have been asked to work with the telecommunications operators in order to restore full services to the state.
The commissioner said the telecommunications shutdown helped security agencies achieve some results.
