Governor Aminu Tambuwal of Sokoto State says the state will continue to be a safe haven for Nigerians to live and make progress regardless of their place of origin or religion.
Alhaji Tambuwal gave the assurance in Sokoto, during the commissioning of a ₦3.2 billion state-of-the-art hospital.
According to the governor, the state does not discriminate against other Nigerians, stressing the need for national cohesion, integration, and good governance as against divisive partisan politics.
He said the hospital project was a product of consultations with Sultan Saad Abubakar before the draft proposal of an annual budget some years ago.
Delta State Governor, Ifeanyi Okowa, who commissioned the project, commended Governor Tambuwal for the construction of the Advanced Medical Diagnostic Centre and eulogized him for always thinking about the people, which he said inspired the hospital project.
