The National Senior Secondary Education Commission has directed Proprietors of Senior Secondary Schools to shun every form of examination malpractice and ensure uprightness in the conduct of exams.
The Executive Secretary of the Commission, Benjamin Abakpa, gave the directive when the leadership of the Academic Staff Union of Secondary Schools (ASUSS) paid a working visit to the commission in Abuja.
Dr Abakpa expressed concern over the inability of some students in tertiary institutions to defend their SSCE results.
He, therefore, solicited the cooperation of the union members to strengthen secondary education in the country.
The National President, Academic Staff Union of Secondary Schools (ASUSS), Comrade Omaji Samuel, expressed the determination of the union to address every form of examination malpractice and other vices in secondary schools.
