Nigeria on Wednesday recorded 432 new COVID-19 infections.
According to the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC, the new 432 cases in 14 states and the federal capital territory (FCT).
However, six persons were said to have died as a result of COVID-19 complications.
According to the NCDC, Lagos has 163, Rivers-109, Imo-27, Edo-16 and Kaduna-15.
Others are Kwara-14, FCT-13, Oyo-13, Kano-12, Akwa Ibom-10, Delta-10, Bauchi-9, Jigawa-9, Ekiti-8 and Borno-4
The data showed that 644 recoveries were logged by the NCDC on Wednesday raising the country’s total discharges to 220,839.
-The NCDC said Wednesday’s report includes 163 cases recorded in Lagos for January 11 (10) and 12 (153).
It also said the report includes 10 cases logged in Akwa Ibom on January 10 (7) and 11 (3).
Nigeria has now confirmed 249,586 infections with 3,092 deaths.
