The Osi Olubdan of Ibadan land, High Chief Rashidi Ladoja says the controversies surrounding the chieftaincy and enthronement of the next Olubadan of Ibadan have been resolved.
He gave the assurance while speaking with newsmen on the outcome of a closed door meeting between members of Olubadan in council and the governor of the state, Seyi Makinde at the Agodi Government House, Ibadan.
Chief Ladoja affirmed the candidature of Otun Olubadan of Ibadan Land, High Chief Lekan Balogun as the next Olubadan of Ibadan.
Among the members of Olubadan in Council that attended the meeting include High Chief Lekan Balogun, High Chief Owolabi Olakuleyin, High Chief Gbadamosi Adebimpe, and High Chief Eddy Oyewole.
It would be recalled that Governor Seyi Makinde had insisted that his administration would ensure the Ibadan traditional system revert to its original concept following controversies arising from ascension to the stool of Olubadan as a result of the demise of the Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Saliu Adetunji
