Four suspected drug traffickers have been arrested by operatives of National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) Rivers State Command, during a raid on a notorious drug joint at Trailer Park in Onne, Rivers State.
Public Relations Officer of NDLEA, Rivers State Command, Mr Emmanuel Ogbumgbada, said the operation which lasted over an hour, resulted in the dismantling of shanties and shades which serve as smoking joints and hide out for criminal elements in the area.
Mr Ogbumgbada said that the four suspects were arrested with various assorted hard drugs including Cannabis Sativa.
While commending the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of NDLEA, Retired Brigadier General Buba Marwa, for providing more operational logistics, Mr Ogbumgbada assured that there would be no more hiding place for drug dealers in Rivers State.
The NDLEA Public Relations Officer of the Rivers State Command appealed to members of the public to avail the Command with credible information that will assist in sanitizing the society of hard drugs.
