Buhari to commission projects in Kaduna on Thursday

President Muhammadu Buhari is expected in Kaduna for a two-day visit, from Thursday to Friday to commission some projects in three cities.

Deputy governor of the state, Dr Hadiza Balarabe made this known while chairing the meeting of the Task Force on the President’s visit at Government house, Kaduna.

Kaduna State is ready to receive His Excellency, Muhammadu Buhari, President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria for a two-day state visit, from Thursday 20th to Friday 21st to commission some projects in Kafanchan, Kaduna and Zaria.

During the visit, President Buhari will inaugurate some of the completed Urban Renewal Projects Executed by Governor Nasiru Elrufai led administration to improve the wellbeing of people in the three major cities of the state.

Some of the projects to be commissioned in Kaduna include the Kawo Flyover Bridge with three Ground Rotaries, Dualisation of Yakubu Gowon Way and its underpass, Aliyu Makama Dualisation Road in Barnawa, Rigasa Dualisation Road that links to train station, a remodeled Murtala Square Kaduna, Rigasa Primary School among other key projects.

Urban Shelters Road from Umaru Musa Yar’adua way to Patrick Yakowa way is also expected to be commissioned by President Muhammadu Buhari.

Other Urban Renewal Projects expected to be commissioned by Muhammadu Buhari in Zaria and Kafanchan include bridges and roads among others.
