President Buhari commissions projects in Kaduna

President Muhammadu Buhari has inaugurated remodeled Murtala Muhammad Square, Kawo Flyover Bridge and LEA Primary School Lokoja Rigasa as part of his two-day visit to Kaduna.

The President while speaking at Murtala Square, congratulated the State Governor for the achievements.

He explained that Governor Nasiru Elrufai has committed to changing Kaduna and has been very successful.

According to him, he has lived in Kaduna all his life but can hardly find his way around as a result of the developmental projects around the state.

He appreciated Governor Nasiru El-Rufai, especially for his ability to write his name with gold.

Governor Nasiru El-Rufai said the remodeled Murtala Muhammed Square was first built in the 70s and was handed over to the Kaduna state government by the Federal Government.

Malam Elrufai explained that the remodeled Murtala Square was done under the leadership of the Kaduna Market Development and Management Company.

He noted that Murtala Mohammed square has been redeveloped and transformed into a multi-functional facility with five restaurants, a boutique, hotel, sporting facility, horsing, polo, football, swimming, tennis and a track for those that want to jog will operate for 24 hours, seven days a week.

President Buhari was also in Kafanchan and inaugurate road projects and other facilities executed by the state government.
