Former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar has visited the former Military Head of State, General Ibrahim Babangida retired at his Uphill residence in Minna, Niger state.
The visit might not be unconnected with former Vice President Atiku Abubakar Presidential ambition in continuation of his consultation with prominent Nigerians.
The two Nigerian leaders later entered a closed-door meeting that lasted for over thirty minutes.
Alh Atiku Abubakar also visited Niger state Governor Alh Abubakar Sani Bello at the Government House Minna.
He said he was at the Government House Minna on a courtesy visit.
On declaration of his political ambition, Atiku Abubakar said he will let Nigerians know at the appropriate time.
The former vice president described as unfortunate and pathetic the current security challenges bedeviling Niger state.
He said he was briefed by Governor Abubakar Bello on the vivid picture of what is going on in Niger state as regards security and called for concerted efforts by all to succeed.
