Nigeria’s National U-20 Football team, Falconets will battle Senegal in the final round of the 2022 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup.
The Nigerian side booked a slot into the final qualifier after a recorded victory in Abuja against Cameroon.
On their part, Senegal needed a penalty shootout to beat favourites, Morocco with a 2-2 aggregate result after a 1-1 first-leg draw in Rabat.
Senegal progressed to the final round with a 5-4 win over the Moroccans on penalties.
Nigeria will take on Senegal in an all-West African final round clash in March 2022 for a place at the global showpiece while in the other qualifier; Ghana will battle Ethiopia for a ticket to Costa Rica.
Two African representatives will emerge from the final round of the African qualifiers, with the first leg fixtures scheduled between March 10 and 12 and second leg ties for March 24 and 26.
