The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, NDLEA is set to commence free Drug tests for students of the University of Abuja.
The chairman of the NDLEA, Mohammed Buba Marwa announced this during the launch of the “Drug-free University ” campaign held at the faculty of Management sciences in the Main campus of the university in Gwagwalada Area Council of the FCT.
Mr Marwa said the university of Abuja was the first higher institution in the country to get the free drug test for returning students to the institution’s campus which he said will be replicated across the six geo-political zones of the country.
The chairman of the NDLEA, therefore, called for the establishment of Guidance and Counseling units across all higher institutions Nationwide.
He noted that the war against drug usage was no longer a joke but a responsibility for all stakeholders to be actively involved to win the war against drug Barons and Cartels across the country,
