President Muhammadu Buhari has fulfilled the federal government’s promise to provide housing for the Super Eagles team that won the African Cup of Nations in 1994.

This was announced by Mr Muhammed Abdullah, Minister of State for Science, Technology, and Innovation, who represented the president at the inauguration of phase one of the federal government housing projects in Angwan Rere village Lafia, Local Government Area of Nasarawa State.

He stated that each of the 22 Super Eagles will receive their allotment from the National Housing Estate in their respective states.

According to the minister, the president lamented the delay in fulfilling the commitment.

The housing project, costing N1.6 billion, comprises 76 housing units connected by a road network, water supply, and power.
