A conglomeration of concerned Ndi Igbo from Abia state under the auspices of cleanse and clean Abia group has called for a security summit in the Southeast to address the lingering insecurity and loss of lives in the region.
The convener of the group, Mr. Uchenna Emehelu made the call at a meeting held in Umahia, the Abia State capital.
He said the forum was to assess the political and security crisis in the Southeast and provide an in-depth analysis of all the Aspirants in the forthcoming Abia State Governorship election with a view to support any Aspirant who can unify the Abia people as well as transform the state to an enviable height.
Mr. Emehelu noted that having examined the qualities of aspirants jostling for the governorship seat in the state, the group observed that Bishop Sunday Onuoha towers above others with his wealth of experience.
The group, therefore, issued a 14-day notice to the Bishop to publicly declare his intention.
