The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has launched a programme to shortlist, screen, select and fund 300 Nigerian Youths to run for the House of Representatives positions in the 2023 General Election.
Unveiling the scheme to newsmen in Abuja, the ADC Director of Programmes and Communication, Ifenla Onigbinde said the programme tagged, 300 Spartans is aimed at giving youths the space to decide the kind of laws they want for the nation.
Miss Onigbinde said the party was working on raising ₦300 million to fund the project and that those who are to benefit would be profiled to ensure they were eligible.
The programme manager Miss Juliet Ikhayere who explained that the 300 youths would be between the ages of 25 and 40, urged Nigerian youths to chart a new course for the nation by embracing the project.
