Four Nigerian Women Referees selected for World Cup U-17 Qualifying Match

Four Nigerian women referees are already in Niamey, Niger Republic, to officiate in the FIFA Women Under-17 World Cup Qualifier between hosts, Niger, and Morocco.

The officials are: FCT- based Referees, Hannah Eliagwu and Beauty Terah; Assistant Referees, Abibatu Yusuf of Rivers State and Yemisi Akintoye of Lagos Council.

The match is scheduled to hold later today (Saturday), Eliagwu will officiate as the Referee, to be assisted by Terah (Assistant Referee 1) and Yusuf (Assistant Referee 2).

The fourth official is Akintoye.

The National Publicity Secretary of the Nigeria Football Referees Association (NRA), Kelechi Mejuobi wishes the ladies the best of luck and safe trip back home.
