Gov. Abdulrazaq appoints 7 permanent Secretaries

The inaugurated Permanent Secretaries with Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq at Government House, Ilorin.

Seven new Permanent Secretaries have been inaugurated to fill vacant positions in the leadership of the Kwara State Government bureaucracy.

They are: Ibrahim Mohammed (Perm Sec. Establishment); Yahya Mohammed (Perm Sec. Water Resources); Sidikat Alaya (Perm Sec. Tertiary Education), and Iyabo Dupe Adekeye (Perm Sec. Environment).

Others are Umar Yakubu Jaja (Perm Sec. Planning); Salman Suleiman (perm Sec. Service Welfare), and Rebecca Bake (Perm Sec. Social Development).

At a brief inauguration ceremony, Kwara State Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq charged the new permanent secretaries to work closely with their political heads and junior colleagues in the bureaucracy to deliver optimal service and good governance to the people of Kwara.

governor AbdulRazaq also urged them to be good team players and join in the rebuilding efforts of the administration.

In her remarks, State Head of Service, Suzan Oluwole Modupe also charged the new appointees to justify the confidence reposed in them by hitting the ground running.

Speaking on behalf of the new officers, The Permanent Secretary, Establishment, Yahaya Muhammad thanked the Governor for appointing them to serve, and pledged to offer their best for the rapid growth and development of the state.
