FG targets bright digital economy through youth empowerment

The Federal Government says the evolution of young people-oriented technology will create a bright future in the nation’s digital economy.

The Minister of Youths and Sports Development, Mr Sunday Dare stated this in a message to the inauguration of an Application, BleanQ, in Abuja, developed by young Nigerians.

Represented by his Media Assistant, Mr Kola Daniel, the Minister explained that the launch of the app would go a long way in leading the desired digital change in Nigeria.

He stressed that a major aspect of the mandate of the Ministry was to empower youths through technology which was why the Ministry would continue to support such projects.

The initiator of the Application, Mr Ayoola Dawodu said Bleanq product cuts across a variety of Gold plates, Bamboo, Metal, and Plastic cards, as well as bi-products also include wristbands and tags.

Mr Dawodu explained that the aim was to offer high-quality services to Nigerians through the latest innovations and to provide an efficient affordable IT partner and solution for all.

He said that with the App, Nigerians could go to the hospital without being present, communicate with doctors without being at the hospital and children could receive and do their assignments and submit to their lecturers without leaving their room.
