The Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) has assured all airport users that Nigerian Airports under its Management are fully ready to play host to air travelers during the Sallah celebration.
As part of preparations to ensure seamless facilitation of the highly esteemed passengers during the Sallah celebrations and beyond, the spokeswoman for the agency, Mrs Faithful Hope-Ivbaze in a statement says, security has been beefed up at the Airports.
According to her, facilities at all Airports have been improved and are functioning optimally.
“In addition, all other logistics have been upgraded and strengthened to provide for the expected increase in passenger traffic in and around our Airports”.
The agency enjoined travelers to look out for directional signages at the Airports for guidance, as well as abide by all safety and security instructions at the Airports.
While advising the general public and intended travelers to make early preparations towards completing their travel requirements in good time, FAAN restated that receiving dignitaries in restricted areas by security agents and airport officials is prohibited and anyone found wanting will be prosecuted.
