Be ‘resolute in securing’ Nigeria – Buhari tells security agencies

President Muhammadu Buhari has charged the security agencies to remain resolute and steadfast in securing the Nation.

President Buhari was speaking at the 58th anniversary of the Nigerian Airforce held at 403 Flying Training School Kano.

According to the President, his administration has invested huge resources in repositioning and professionalising the Nigerian Armed forces to ensure that the country’s airspace was being managed appropriately.

He assured citizens that the Nigerian airforce would ultimately be able to meet its constitutional responsibilities, thereby justifying the government’s enormous support in the last seven years.

He also said his administration has approved the procurement of more air platforms for the Nigerian Airforce, aimed at enabling the Airforce to man the nation’s Airspace more effectively.

The Nigerian leader commended the minister of defence, all the service chiefs and leadership of all security outfits in the country for their tireless efforts in ensuring security of lives and property.

During the ceremony, the Nigerian airforce conducted aerial displays with acts of professionalism and dedication.

All the service chiefs and other heads of security agencies were on hand to grace the occasion.
