National Integrated Household to survey households in Abuja

The National Integrated Household survey for thirty-three thousand households in the FCT and the thirty-six states has commenced.

The Statistician-General of The Federation and Chief Executive Officer, National Bureau Of Statistics, Mr Semiu Adeniran made this known in Abuja at the Media briefing on the NBS– CBN collaborative national integrated household survey.

According to him, this is the first time an Integrated Household Survey of this nature is being implemented, stressing that the survey will be conducted every quarter.

On the importance of the survey, the Statistician-General explained that it would be used to track the various government interventions put in place as response to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on Nigerians and businesses. 

 The CBN Governor represented by the Director Statistics, Yakubu Bello appealed to respondents to fully cooperate with the enumerators, assuring them that the information provided will be treated as confidential, Collation of Data for the National Integrated Household survey is expected to be completed within seventeen days after the commencement of administration of questioner.
