The Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) has charged the public to be extra vigilant in ensuring that Telecom Infrastructure are well-protected.
The aim, according to the NCC, is to enhance effective service delivery in the telecommunications industry.
The Executive Vice Chairman of the Commission, Professor Garba Umar Danbatta disclosed this during a Village Square dialogue on telecoms consumer conversation held at Danbatta local government area of Kano state.
Professor Danbatta said the NCC “is working tirelessly in ensuring that quality telecom services are being provided to the consumers of telecoms services across the country”, saying protection of telecoms infrastructure is the responsibility of all Nigerians; hence the public should not hesitate in reporting any suspicious act of vandalising telecoms infrastructure.
He Without efficient telecoms infrastructure, the needed telecoms service would not be provided to consumers; hence Nigerians should collaborate efforts with the Commission in ensuring the protection of telecoms infrastructure.
