Basketball Court donated to LEA Primary School, Wuse Zone 3 Abuja
A fresh call has gone to well-meaning Nigerians to do more in helping the government at all levels, to provide sound and qualitative education; especially at Primary and Secondary School levels.
The Head Teacher, LEA Primary School, Wuse Zone 3 Abuja; Mrs. Grace Moronike stated this at the inauguration of a Computer Lab, and Basketball Court, donated to the School by an NGO.
Mrs Moronike thanked the HotCoal Hands of Care, Chief Executive, Ubong Udoh for the gesture, which she described as huge and highly beneficial, to the pupils in both their academics and sports.
Handing over the twin projects, Mr Udoh gave the initiator of the programme, Miss Naomi Kareem kudos, a serving corps member (Batch B, Stream 2, FC/21B/6050) for her vision, and urged the pupils to make the most use of the computers, knowing that ICT now rules the world.
The Proprietor of Abuja-based basketball teams, HotCoal Ballers & HotCoal Sizzlers then counseled the pupils on the virtues of teamwork, discipline and friendship that abound in all sports, especially basketball.
In addition to the 3 By 3 basketball court, computer lab with six functional monitors, CPU, and UPS; the school was also gifted a whiteboard, smart television, and two shelves with textbooks.
