The first set of this year’s Christian Pilgrims to Isreal and Jordan have arrived back Nigeria after a successful spiritual exercise in the holy land.

Addressing the pilgrims at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja, the Executive Secretary of the Nigerian Christian Pilgrims Commission (NCPC), Reverend Yakubu Pam, urged the returnees to put into practice what they have learnt during the spiritual activities.

Reverend Pam said it was heartening that none of the pilgrims absconded during the spiritual exercise.

Some of the pilgrims who shared their experiences in the course of the exercise expressed joy for being part of this year’s pilgrimage.

The pilgrims also pledged to be good ambassadors of Christ as well as Nigeria.

Over 300 pilgrims participated in the exercise.
