Religious institutions pray for divine intervention – Boss Mustapha

The Secretary to the Government of the Federation Mr Boss Mustapha has called on religious institutions not to relent in seeking Divine Intervention to the challenges confronting the country.

Speaking during the rededication of Methodist Cathedral of Unity Abuja, Mr. Mustapha said the federal government was working round the clock to ensure economic transformation, peace and water tight security in all parts of the country.

Represented by a permanent Secretary office of the SGF Maurice Nnamdi, the SGF also urged the Church to educate their followers on the importance to fully participate in the on going democratic process.

According to him, Christains that are eligible should avail themselves of the ongoing Continuous Voter Registration to enable them choose right leaders in 2023 general election.

In his Sermon, Prelate Methodist Church of Nigeria His Eminence Samuel Uche-Kanu appealed to the church to remain focused and avoid tribalism and corruption.

Most Reverend Uche-Kanu stressed the need for the government to intensify efforts in the ongoing fight against corruption and ensue justice for all.

The Prelate however appealed to the members of the Methodist Cathedral of Unity Abuja to be patriotic and spread the gospel of peace and Unity.

The Church rededication was used to pray for leaders at all levels and emergence of God fearing leaders in 2023 general election.
