Edo State Government has signed Coach Moses Aduku as Edo Queens’ new Coach on a 2-year contract.
Moses Aduku is the immediate past coach of Bayelsa Queens who won the 2021/2022 Women’s League, qualifying Bayelsa Queens for the CAF Women’s Champions League.
Coach Moses Aduku signed the contract on behalf of himself, while the Permanent Secretary of Edo State Sports Commission Mrs Sabina Chikere signed on behalf of Edo Queens Football Club, supervised by Edo state Deputy Governor Philip Shaibu.
Giving the new coach his charge after the Unveiling, Deputy Governor Philip Shaibu noted that the aim of the club is to win the CAF Women’s Champions League.
Mr. Shaibu who praised the coach for his previous achievements noted that there was confidence he will replicate successes in Edo Queens, assuring him of all needed support to achieve the target given to him.
On his part, the new Edo Queens Coach, Moses Aduku noted that he decided to take the Edo Queens job because he had admired the club from a distance due to the various reforms which has improved welfare packages for the team.
