Some 480 suspected criminals have been arrested after a Joint Task Force raided uncompleted buildings in Wuse II and Maitama areas of the Federal Capital Territory.
Commander in charge of the team, Bennett Igweh, said the apprehended suspects had turned green areas and unoccupied houses into safe havens to perpetrate criminal activities.
Items recovered from the suspects include police uniforms, mobile phones, loaded pistol, matchetes and charms.
The suspects, according to the commander, will be profiled and handed over to appropriate authorities for necessary actions.
Mr Igweh also promised that the exercise will expand to 21 satellite villages and towns.
