Some 35 persons kidnapped three weeks ago at Millennium City, Cikun Local Government Area of Kaduna State have been set free.
The victims returned on Friday evening and were received by hundreds of well-wishers.
An eyewitness told Radio Nigeria that one person remains in captivity because the bandits holding him hostage are demanding two motorcycles in exchange for his freedom.
Meanwhile, the witness confirmed that about N2.5 million was paid to the kidnappers before the other victims were released.
Similarly, the kidnapped Doctor and 15 others including women and children from the Sabon Gero community, also within the Millennium City, have also been released.
The leader of the Joint Task Force (JTF) in the community, Uwasu Yunusa, who confirmed this to Radio Nigeria, insisted that no money was paid to secure their release.
