Yobe state Governor, Mai Mala Buni
Yobe state Governor, Mai Mala Buni, has approved the employment of 134 graduates of Shehu Sule College of Nursing and Midwifery, to boost healthcare personnel in all health institutions across the state.
This is contained in a statement signed by the Director Press and Media Affairs to the Governor, Mamman Muhammed.
According to the statement, those employed include 12 nurses, 67 indigenous graduates of Midwifery and 55 community nurses who graduated from the Shehu Sule College.
Similarly, the governor also approved the placement of 167 student nurses of the college on a monthly allowance of N10, 000.
According to the governor, the investment in the Health personnel was to provide qualified manpower to man existing and newly established health institutions in the state.
He noted that government would provide qualified personnel in all the health facilities to provide quality services to the people.
The governor charged the new employees to be dedicated to duty and to serve the people deligently to justify government investment in them.
