Students from tertiary institutions across the country will next week converge on Abuja for the 2022 national debate which will focus on burning national issues.
The topics to be discussed include: Southern presidency and national unity, an assessment of Nigeria’ s journey since independence and the lingering strikes in the nation’s tertiary education sub-sector.
Addressing newsmen in Abuja, the organizers of the debate who is also the Executive Director of Diamond Monday foundation, Mr. Monday Ani said the forum would provide an opportunity for students to bare their minds on the issues bothering them.
Mr. Ani said 74 institutions would participate in the debate, and the winner going home with N500,000 cash gift.
The initiative is being supported by an international education focused non-governmental organization, Eureka based in Rome Italy.
