Ondo State Governor, Mr Oluwarotimi Akeredolu has applauded the grassroots and network reach of Radio Nigeria in the broadcast Industry in the country
The Governor stated this when he received the outgoing Zonal Director, FRCN Ibadan zonal station Mrs Bolatito Joseph, General Manager, Positve FM Akure, Mrs Olubunmi Olalere and other management team of Positive FM.
He particularly commended Radio Nigeria for it’s unique, professional and unbeatable reach which made the station outstanding.
Speaking on increasing cost of funding broadcast station, Governor Akeredolu advised switching to solar energy to reduce reliance on diesel, cutting unnecessary costs and putting assets to profitable use.
He then promised to assist Positive FM Akure in its quest to enhance quality service to the people of the state.
Governor Akeredolu wished the retiring zonal director a blissful retirement.
Earlier, the Zonal Director FRCN Ibadan zonal station, Mrs Joseph condoled with the state government on the Owo church attack while also appreciating the Governor for championing the cause to protect people in the southwest.
